Michael is sharing the information of how practicing Feng Shui correctly can create the harmony in any environment.

“So, who are the mentally ill? Princess Diana, Winston Churchill, President Abraham Lincoln, famous painter Van Gogh, etc...” Ted Turner (Jane Fonda’s ex-husband), had to take lithium for years to conquer the horrible illness: bipolar disorder. Recently Jane Pauley, former Today Show and Dateline NBC host, revealed that she had been diagnosed with bipolar disorder. In her new autobiography, "Skywriting," and in an interview on Dateline NBC in 8/2004, Pauley discussed her illness and the treatment that she has received.

According to the American Medical Association, there is a depressed person in an estimated 1 in 5 families.

Oprah Winfrey on The Oprah Winfrey Show, 3/7/94, said it is estimated that 10 million people around the world have taken Prozac; 5 million of them right here in the United States. That’s more than the total population of Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Nebraska.

So, exactly who are the mentally ill? I have news for you: all of us. If you just observe how “sane” people behave, you will see what I am talking about: watch a couple having lunch together in an elegant restaurant; he is on the cell phone and so is she. Physically, just the two of them are dining together, but there are two more outsiders coming between them through the cell phones! Or watch people cross the street, oblivious to their surroundings; they keep on talking on the cell phone without seeing cars coming toward them! Are those actions of the sane or insane?

Princess Diana’s speech on June 1993 outlined the perils of drugs prescribed to treat women for depression…she described the “haze of loneliness and desperation” that turned too many women into “anxious zombies” hooked on “tranquilizers, sleeping pills and antidepressants”…“perhaps we need to look more closely at the cause of the illness, rather than an attempt to suppress it”, Princess Diana said. Now that Princess Diana is no longer here, reports have stated that she also suffered from mental illness, bipolar, which means mood swings, up and down, happy, and depressed (don’t we all have that mood?).

So, what does mental illness have to do with Feng Shui? Feng Shui is the art of creating harmony in all nine areas of your life: wealth, health, career, fame, children, education, love, knowledge, and mentorship. All nine areas must have balance; a moment you feel the scale is tipped, it’s time to rebalance your life. That’s what we talked about during the NAMI convention in Washington DC. So, how are we going to balance our life? First and utmost, guard our thoughts. The Buddha says: “No enemy can harm one so much as one’s own thoughts of craving, thoughts of hate, and thoughts of jealousy and so on”. Once we free ourselves with destructive thoughts, Feng Shui is much easier and more effective when practiced.

For an example: suppose you have been working so hard, and do not seem to get anywhere, no promotion, no results, too many obstacles, and it seems as if you go around in circles.

What would you do?

Take a look at your career section, clear all unwanted stuff you no longer need and give it away to the Goodwill charity.

Don’t move unwanted stuff around since it is going to stop the flow of other areas! Activate your career luck by getting a table fountain with a ball, running & turning continuously and remember, never let the fountain go dry. A dry fountain means an empty wallet.

Place the fountain in the north section. Continue to work hard because now, you have man luck (works hard) and feng shui luck (fountain table) working for you. Watch and see how your career luck changes!

Remember, this is only a quick fix. For better results, Flying Star Feng Shui is always best to apply.

When you’re moving forward with your career, take notice of your relationship with your spouse. If your relationship is weak, activate the relationship area. Again, clear all unwanted items. For relationships activation, place a pair of love birds, playing horses, and a beautiful bouquet of flowers (any color but white and red), and place those items in the southwest corner, and take time to build a relationship with your spouse, and … voila… invite me to your baby shower!
